The Awards are designed to showcase and celebrate marketing talent across the region. The following award categories reflect the breadth of specialisms and roles across the profession, and enable talent to be recognised across the career span from Rising Star of the Year to Outstanding Achievement.

Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:

Marketer of the Year
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:

- Proven results and effectiveness of campaigns / projects
- Budget planning and cost effectiveness
Marketing Director of the Year
This award is open to all marketing directors or similar who have overall responsibility for their companies marketing strategy and delivery. They should have at least 10 years experience in the industry and be able to demonstrate strong leadership and strategic overview.
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:
- Increased/sustained financial achievement for the company
- Evidence of detailed research and analysis
- Client or stakeholder service excellence
- Strong leadership qualities
- Approachability and team management
- Strategic and business planning
- Commitment and enthusiasm
Digital Campaign of the Year
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:
- Effectiveness of campaign
- Engagement and audience reach
- Return on investment
- Creativity and innovation
- Best use of platform
Integrated Campaign of the Year (Agency)
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:
- Effectiveness of campaign

- Best use of multiple channels
- Synergy and consistency across platforms
Integrated Campaign of the Year (In-House)
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:

Not for Profit Campaign of the Year
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:

Brand Creation of the Year (Agency)
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:
- A clear understanding of the client’s (or companies) strategy, needs and aspirations for the rebrand, changes or creation of the brand identity.

Brand Creation of the Year (In-House)
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:
- A clear understanding of the client’s (or companies) strategy, needs and aspirations for the rebrand, changes or creation of the brand identity.

Product Launch of the Year
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:
- Effectiveness of campaign

In-House Marketing Team of the Year
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:
- How your results have benefited your company and/or clients
- Ability to work well as a team
- Effective collaboration with other departments or service providers

- Effectiveness of campaigns and results measured
- Staff development and training opportunities
Small Agency of the Year (Under 20 employees)
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:

Digital Marketing Agency of the Year
Judges will assess the nomination on the following areas:

Outstanding Achievement Award
This Award is for individuals who have shown significant achievement over many years and made an outstanding contribution to the marketing profession or the company which they are part of.
There are no interviews taking place for this award as the winner is chosen by a committee. If you would like to put someone forward for consideration please email info@northeastmarketingawards.co.uk with a brief explanation of why they would be a worthy winner.
