Christmas is for every child, that’s Cash for Kids Mission.

Across the North East, thousands of children face the possibility of waking up to nothing on Christmas Day. No letters to Santa. No decorations. No gifts. For many, it’s just another day. Through Cash for Kids  Mission Christmas appeal, we’re determined to change that, to bring joy and a sense of magic to children who would otherwise be forgotten. The families we support can’t make festive savings by cutting back on days out or treats, these things were never within reach. Many are already living below the poverty line, relying on food banks and essential support to get by. For them, Christmas isn’t just difficult; it’s impossible without help.

This year, we’ve received applications for support for over 40,000 children across the North East, each one submitted by a trusted professional who knows that child’s situation. These children rely on Cash for Kids help and your generosity can make a difference this Christmas. You can help make Christmas special for a local child, by donating a gift or making a cash donation to support our Mission Christmas appeal.

Cash for Kids North East works year round to respond to the needs of children aged 0-18, giving those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable, or living with illness or disability the chance of a brighter future. Our mantra is raised locally, stays local, every donation directly supports children right here in the North East. Our projects go towards enhancing children’s quality of life with key focuses on poverty, education, Christmas, access to sport and exercise, health and well-being and improving access to specialist services.

NEMA GIFT APPEAL!

At this year’s awards we’re asking you to help us make sure every child has a magical Christmas by bringing a gift along on the evening that can be given to a child in need in the North East. It doesn’t need to be big or expensive, a small toy, a book, a cuddly teddy – anything at all. You don’t need to wrap the gift just bring it along on the evening and drop it in one of our special ‘gift boxes’. The Cash for Kids team will then take the gifts and distribute on the run up to Christmas.

Come on NEMA! Lets see how many children we can make smile this Christmas!
